In this interactive workshop, participants will use a series of case studies as a basis for exploring the latest research about MYP: Next chapter and discussing best practices for implementation.
Participants in this session will:
• Gain a global perspective on implementation of MYP: Next chapter
• Identify the implications of the key research findings for schools
• Collaborate and network with other pedagogical leaders to share best
practices for implementing MYP: Next chapter

In this session will provide an overview of the current curriculum developments in the MYP and a preview of new and up coming resources for schools.
Participants in this session will:
• Learn about the most recent findings from MYP research and assessment
• Learn about current curriculum development activities in the MYP
• Preview new and up-coming resources for schools.

Learning about teaching methods that help students experience what they learn in class by applying their knowledge to a problem in the community, finding solutions, working through a process, and gaining understanding that they can use their knowledge for a good cause which will result in enriching their school work and performance.

The goals:
- Understanding the importance of service learning
- Identifying methods that help students experience what they learn in lass by applying their knowledge to the real world
- Developing service as action activities that could be applied within subjects area and grade level.

The session will introduce Dr. Lynn Erickson's approach for concept based curriculum and instruction and structure of knowledge. The session will provide participants with sample lessons and will engage them in
planning a lesson using the unit web and generating generalizations and big ideas to deliver the required content.

In this session I will:

- Introduce participants to Dr. Lynn Erikson's approach in Concept based for Curriculum and Instruction.

- Share samples of lessons with participants and brain storm ways to implement them.

- Help participants to develop generalizations and use unit webs to shape conceptual understanding of given content.

This session explores teaching strategies which target different parts of the brain and aims to present an innovative framework of teaching through effective classroom practices
- To present the latest research on the function of the different parts of the learner’s brain.
- To bridge the gap between research and practice to help adapt, organize and contextualize neuroscience and cognitive science principles to practical lesson planning and pedagogical practice.
- To discuss some of the teaching practices and to improve student comprehension through the creation of a physical and emotional environment that facilitates mastery of content, concepts and optimizes the use of individual skills.

To Create mathematical performance task aligned with MYP math objectives by Using the GRASP model to transfer math problems into open ended ones. Using patterns as a performance task. Apply understanding to design a performance task.

In this workshop, participants will explore insights from the 2018 assessment sessions and discuss strategies for using eAssessment to inform high-quality teaching and learning.
Participants in this session will:
• Gain a global perspective on MYP eAssessment
• Identify the implications of those findings with respect to teaching and learning
• Collaborate and network with other MYP teachers to share best practices for using eAssessment to inform high quality teaching and learning.

This session will explore how schools can develop a three year IB Middle Years Programme model to align with iGCSE. The key pedagogical principles of the MYP will be described, illustrated by examples of school practice.
Delegates will gain an understanding of the IB continuum and the features which are key to all programmes as well as those that change with the the age of the students;
Delegates will gain an understanding of IB MYP pedagogy; Strategies for aligning MYP and iGCSE will be explored

Participants will explore the integration of technology in teaching and learning to promote student centered learning environment and enhance students’ agency over learning. The workshop will include; VR&AR technologies, creative gadgets and online formative assessment tools.

The Goals:
- Incorporating different technologies into lessons to give students the option of taking in information through a new, more hands-on, lens.
- Increasing students' engagement and active participation which leads to more effective teaching and learning
- Improving knowledge retention for learners by allowing them to personally experience what they learn

The session aims to provide teachers with both a rationale (short introduction) and approaches to teaching towards the realization of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals 2030 across multiple subject groups through demonstration and application. Rather than accepting theSDGs as a universal framework for development, the session will provide opportunities for SDG adaptation into realities of the region whether it be pertaining to climate change, water scarcity, conflict, the protection of marine life, social justice or gender inequality.
To provide teachers with skill-based practical ideas/approaches on how to gear teaching towards the UN’s SDGs through demonstration followed by group--To allow space for contemplation and adaptation of the SDGs into realities in the Middle East based on subject-group.

The Goals:
-To provide a rationale behind the importance of unifying our efforts as educators and learners around the world towards the realization of the SDGs through a mini-lecture (despite their limitations and imperfections, they remain our existing framework for a better future).
