Rotation stations create opportunities to set up a range of activities for small groups that increase student engagement and allow for more frequent practice of skills and repetition of learning. Working in shorter, developmentally appropriate bursts, students learn from each other through collaboration, problem solving and active learning.
By the end of this workshop participants will be able to: - State the advantages of using rotations stations in primary grades. - Set up a classroom environment to support this approach. - Plan rotation stations that can be used across all subjects.
