By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
1. Motivate staff to take ownership of their own professional development
2. Identify free and low cost ways to boost professional development
3. Develop a sense of staff development as an interactive process rather than something that is received
Brief description:
Finding and funding good professional development is difficult, and it is hard to also engage the staff who most need the assistance. This session outlines a plan for a school-based professional network that motivates everyone to develop as professionals.
