This workshop will take a practical approach to the major issues teachers face in large English language classrooms: classroom management and student engagement. Trainers will model efficient methods to manage and engage students in large classrooms. In addition, teachers will explore some of the opportunities and challenges they face in their own contexts to ensure that all students can participate in classroom tasks and demonstrate learning.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Implement strategies for managing the physical and psycho-social environment in a large class
- Implement strategies to enhance engagement in a large class

Randa Daoud is an English Trainer at Queen Rania Teacher Academy. She works in the English Network, Phonics, and IES programs. She worked in foreign language teaching in different countries. She holds a M.A. in Applied Linguistics and an M.A in English Language and Literature.
