This workshop is for any educator who guides their students toward mastery through incremental skill development. Through the lense of teaching beginning musicians, we will explore how Growth Mindset, Flow Theory, and Social Learning equip students with the skills to become life-long learners. We will explore current strategies that have successfully worked in the classroom and also new ones to try.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
- Understand factors that contribute to student motivation.
- Use technology to create a community of practice in their classroom
- Create a student-centered classroom
