Because “agile minds can turn tides,” we would like to show that a math class and an English class can have similar teaching methodologies!! An English language teacher and a Math teacher from King’s Academy will present a variety of common classroom activities designed to work in both the language classroom and the math classroom. Audience members will walk away with a list of hands-on activities, which target a variety of skill levels and learning styles within their classrooms. During the presentation, audience members will have the opportunity to experience the activities in a classroom-simulated environment. Activities will include jigsaw and POGIL among others.

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:
Walk away with a list of hands-on activities, which target a variety of skill levels and learning styles within their classrooms both in the English language classroom and in the Math classroom.
