Amer Dababneh (aka Amer Abu-Houran) is the Middle School Principal (IB-MYP) and the IB-DP Computer Science teacher at Modern Montessori School – Jordan (which is an IB World School) based in Amman, Jordan. He is a passionate educator who believes in the power of effective educational leadership to inspire students to grow as empowered leaders. Amer is a Harvard University Fellow at Harvard Graduate School of Education (2019 HGSE’s MEPLI) and he has over 16 years of teaching experience at different international schools. He holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration (USA) and a B.Sc. in Computer Science. He is also a Board Member (Board of Trustees) at ABS (Amman Baptist School), a CIS Accreditation Evaluator/Team Member (Council of International Schools), and a CS Examiner at the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization).
